We had to have a bunch of problems with our boiler rectified (after 5 years since installation). Fortunately (and to their credit), MoreSpace, the company who was responsible for the original install, agreed to put right those problems free of charge. Thank you MoreSpace for doing the following annoying and complicated jobs so professionally and properly:
Water ingress to boiler flue due to incorrect pitch and dodgy external joint:
Old plastic pressure relief pipe – doesn’t meet building regs:
Cutting a new hole to re-route the boiler flue in a better angle:
Digging under the deck to pass a 4m copper 22mm pipe underneath the kitchen to reach the boiler:
Will it work?
Like the good old days:
Changing the external exit of the flue:
Digging behind a bathroom cabinet to provide an access panel for boiler flue inspection:
Cutting the core out:
Ready:
Done:
Final result:
And inside, new flue joints installed and making good done: (just needs painting)
And the copper pressure relief piping:
We wanted to update the (messy) office, provide some storage to hide away some of the untidiness and make a more productive and calm environment in which to work… here’s 4 days of hard work to get there. And we’re pleased with the results.
Still some tidying to do…

See what happened when we went on a sushi making course in Wimbledon – and learnt all about how to make Japanese omelette, “fashion sandwich” and sushi/sashimi.
The mackerel and the salmon tasted amazing…
